<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a distribution server that is effective for efficiently transmitting content information. <P>SOLUTION: The distribution server 3 which distributes to a mobile terminal 2 content information corresponding to location information, transmitted from the mobile terminal 2, positioned in a predetermined positioning term T2, includes a transmission term setting means 2b for setting a transmission term T1 of location information to be periodically transmitted from the mobile terminal 2. In such a distribution server 3, the transmission term T1 of the location information transmitted from the mobile terminal 2 can be managed at a side of the distribution server 3. The distribution server 3 is in charge of transmitting content information corresponding to the location information, and when the transmission term T1 of the location information can be managed at the side of the distribution server 3, the content information to be transmitted to the mobile terminal 2 and the transmission term T1 can be cooperatively managed, thereby efficiently transmitting the content information. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
