<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laminated optical film capable of preventing a foreign matter from infiltrating in between a polarizer and an optical compensation film, and having superior transparency and high degree of polarization, and to provide a manufacturing method for the film. <P>SOLUTION: This laminated optical film is long and is provided with the long polarizer, having an absorption axis in the longitudinal direction and the long optical compensation film.
