<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an on-vehicle display operation device capable of decreasing the risk of a person seated in the rear seat. <P>SOLUTION: In a control device 2 of this on-vehicle display operation device 1, seating in the rear seat is detected by a seating switch 6 when it is detected that a vehicle is traveling at prescribed speed or more by a vehicle speed sensor 5, and detection of no-mounting of a seat belt device is notified to the sitting person when it is detected that the seat belt device is not mounted on the rear seat that the seating is detected by a seat belt switch 7.
