<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a viscoelastic member which demonstrates different properties in one surface and the other surface of the member, has a transparent appearance, and is controlled not to contaminate an object. <P>SOLUTION: The viscoelastic member has a laminated structure of a polymer layer and a monomer absorption layer which can absorb at least one monomer constituting the polymer. The polymer layer contains an elastomer distributed unevenly on an interface on the opposite side to the monomer absorption layer or in the vicinity of the interface. In the viscoelastic member, a cover film is allowed to overlie the surface on the opposite side to the monomer absorption layer of the polymer layer with the elastomer distributed unevenly. The vicinity of the interface on the opposite side to the monomer absorption layer is preferably a domain within 50% in relation to the total thickness in the thickness direction from the interface on the opposite side to the monomer absorption layer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
