PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electromagnetic fuel-injection valve wherein while reducing the usage of a covering layer, operation-noise is effectively suppressed. SOLUTION: The electromagnetic fuel-injection valve includes a valve body B, a valve assembly V, a valve spring 22, a coil assembly 28, a covering layer 32, and a coupler 34. In the valve body B, a fixed core 5 is continuously formed behind a valve housing 2, and a fuel inlet tube 26 is formed behind the fixed core 5. The valve assembly V is held in the valve housing 2. By the valve spring 22, the valve assembly V is biassed in the direction to the valve seat 8 of a valve element 18 to be seated. The coil assembly 28 is provided so as to surround the fixed core 5, and when excited, the coil assembly generates attraction between the fixed core 5 and a moving core 12. The covering layer 32 is made of a synthetic resin to cover the valve body B and the coil assembly 28. The coupler 34 is integrally provided to the covering layer 32. On the peripheral face of the valve body B, an irregular surface 48 is formed on the peripheral surface of the valve body B, where recessed grooves 46, 146 and projection ridges 47, 147 are respectively alternately arranged all around the perimeter.
