TIMING CHAIN COVER OF CAR ENGINE

摘要

A timing chain cover of an engine is provided to align a chain tensioner guide pivot bolt hole and a timing chain cover maintenance hole easily by mounting a separation preventive holder of a chain tensioner guide in the lower part of the chain tensioner guide. A timing chain cover of an engine comprises holders(21,23) mounted on the bottom of a chain tensioner guide(3). The chain tensioner guide is prevented to fall by the holders. The rotation of the tensioner guide due to hydraulic protrusion is prevented by the holder. Assembly property is improved in re-assembling a timing chain cover after performing maintenance work by the holders. The holders are formed on the timing chain cover and the oil pump cover simultaneously. The holders is formed like rib type of curved shape convexly downwardly.
