<p>Removable post comprises elongate main body (1, Fig 1) having cylindrical aperture at one end (2, Fig 1) and shaft 3 axially movable relative to main body (1, Fig 1). Shaft 3 has a locking slot 22a forming part of a bayonet coupling, and a radial flange 9 axially spaced from locking slot 22a. Actuating pin 8 extends through main body (1, Fig 1) and has a cam surface 8a which is engaged by lower surface of flange 9. Upon rotation of pin 8, flange 9 moves axially relative to the centre of pin 8, causing shaft 3 to move between an extended and a retracted position. Flange 9 may be formed by a load plate which is biased axially away from a reaction plate by a spring that engages with the upper surface of the load plate. Removable post may be used with an anchor plate 30 having arcuate slots (31A, 31B, Fig 3a) and tabs (32A, 32B, Fig 3a) which engage with locking slot 22a. As shaft is engaged with plate 30, rotated and then moved to a retracted position, the post is locked relative to plate 30. Anchor may include hollow insert (40, Fig 6) which is recessed into the ground and secured in place, and may be attached to anchor plate 30.</p> |
