A method for improving the photoelectron output characteristic of an infrared LED by using the pulse power supply and a wireless infrared communication equipment are provided to emit more photoelectrons in comparison with the DC power supply by using the characteristic of a pulse. A modulator(110) receives an input signal and loads/outputs it on a modulated signal. A pulse power supply unit(120) generates the pulse power and outputs an operating frequency corresponding to the power. A mixer(130) mixes the modulated signal with the operating frequency to generate an output frequency. An infrared LED(140) receives the output frequency and then converts it into the infrared ray.
