PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide portable equipment that prevents creases and slacks from occurring even in an open state when attaching a cover to a rear-surface side, prevents grip stability and key operability from deteriorating, and has a folding structure maintaining beauty. SOLUTION: A portable telephone 1, a first casing 2 having a keyboard section 6 is rotatably connected with a second casing 3 having a display section 8 by a hinge 4. The cover 5 made of a flexible and soft material is attached to the back side of the portable telephone 1.
