PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a therapeutic agent for Lewy body disease, treating the Lewy body disease such as Parkinson disease, dementia with Lewy bodies and multiple system atrophy, and to provide a preventive of the Lewy body disease suppressing the onset of the Lewy body disease. SOLUTION: The therapeutic agent for the Lewy body disease contains a compound represented by general formula (1) (wherein, R1 to R4 are independently selected from a hydroxy group and a methoxy group; X is a linear divalent group free from an aromatic ring) and having 200-700 molecular weight. The prophylactic agent for the Lewy body disease contains the compound represented by formula (1) and having 200-700 molecular weight.
