PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a distillation system and a distillation method preventing lowering of quality and yield even in distilling a low boiling point substance. SOLUTION: In the distillation system for separating a mixed substance of two-component system or more existing in a feed raw material by the difference of boiling points into a low boiling point substance and a high boiling point substance, the system comprises an evaporation separator 100 evaporating the low boiling point substance and discharging it as upper vapor 11, with the high boiling point substance condensed at a lower part; a condensing evaporator 500 wherein water fed from a water feed source heat-exchanges with the upper vapor and the upper vapor and water are respectively condensed and evaporated; and compressors 600, 700, 800 adiabatically compressing steam evaporated from the condensing evaporator. Heat of steam compressed in the compressors is fed as an evaporation heat source of for separating the mixed substance in the evaporation separator. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
