SYSTEM TO COLD COMPRESS AN AIR STREAM USING NATURAL GAS REFRIGERATION

A system for cold compression of air stream by using natural gas refrigeration is provided to decrease possibility of leakage of natural gas to the air stream by using intermediate cooling media to transfer cooling to the air stream. A system for cold compression of air stream by using natural gas refrigeration comprises the following steps of: cooling intermediate cooling media by performing heat exchange on refrigerant stream including the natural gas; compressing air stream(100) using a plurality of compression stages; and cooling the air stream with sub-ambient temperature. A plurality of compression stages includes a beginning stage(3a), one or more middle stages(3b), and a final stage(3c).
