METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR DATA TRANSMISSION IN MOBILE COMMUNICATION SYSTEM SUPPORTING ENHANCED UPLINK SERVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus for data transmission, in a mobile communication system supporting enhanced uplink service.

SOLUTION: The disclosed method includes the steps of: determining transmit power factors for a dedicated physical channel and an enhanced physical channel to confirm whether total transmit power required for transmission of the channels exceeds maximum allowed power; reducing the transmit power factor for an enhanced physical data channel in the enhanced physical channel, if the total transmit power exceeds the maximum allowed power; and transmitting data through the enhanced physical data channel using the transmit power factor reduced, corresponding to the enhanced physical channel; and transmitting data through the dedicated physical channel and enhanced physical control channel, by using the transmit power factors corresponding to the dedicated physical channel and the enhanced physical channel.
