<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting device for a vehicle with an inexpensive and simple prism lens which can facilitate a moving operation of the vehicle by grasping a distance between the vehicle and an obstacle, and a prism lens mounted in the lighting device for a vehicle. <P>SOLUTION: The lighting device 1 for a vehicle comprises a lamp housing 2 with an opening in a direction of the outside of a vehicle, a light source bulb 3 arranged in the lamp housing, and an outer lens 5 arranged on the opening. In this case, the prism lens 7 is provided in a direction further toward outside of the vehicle than the light source bulb, the prism lens refracts light 9 irradiated from the light source bulb, and a plurality of refracting surfaces 71 for projecting a mark pattern 8 to the outside of the vehicle are provided. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
