PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laminated electronic component capable of controlling an ESR with higher precision as compared with the conventional one, and a manufacturing method therefor. SOLUTION: An external electrode 5 has a base conductive layer 5a which is brought into close contact with an electronic component base body and electrically connected to an internal electrode 4, an insulating layer 5b formed on the base conductive layer 5a, and a coating conductive layer 5c formed on the insulating layer 5b. The external electrode 5 includes a resistor 6 embedded in a hole portion 7 penetrating the insulating layer 5b to reach the base conductive layer 5a and closed with the coating conductive layer 5c.
