PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a maintenance-free deodorization filter which is extremely effective for deodorizing a basic gas such as ammonia gas often generated in a toilet or the like especially among many odorous gases, and keeps a deodorization effect. SOLUTION: Examination is performed for providing a deodorization filter for efficiently absorbing the basic gas and keeping the deodorization effect, and as the result, it is found that, by treating a filter in a honeycomb shape comprising active carbon mixed paper with a phosphoric acid buffer solution, the deodorization filter which remarkably keeps the deodorization effect of the basic gas is provided easily at a low cost.
