<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for moderating or preventing defects in the conventional methods of gene expression and defects in the conventional methods for promoting the gene expression in mammalian animal cells (especially in human cells). <P>SOLUTION: This new expression vector containing an objective gene, a nuclear anchoring element, and at least one inverted recurring element, preferably two inverted recurring elements, is provided. The expression vector is an episomal vector having a capability of transfecting the mammalian animal cells.
