PURPOSE:To obtain easily a stable high oscillation frequency by adding a resonance circuit comprising an inductance and a capacitance tuned to the harmonics from the oscillation element to the oscillation circuit comprising a CMOS inverter. CONSTITUTION:The parallel resonance circuit comprising the inductance 4 and the capacitance 5 is added to an output of the inverter 1 so as to be tuned to the harmonics from a crystal resonator 3. Thus, the voltage impressed to the crystal resonator 3 is maximum at the resonance frequency comprising the inductance and the capacitance and the frequency is tuned to the harmonics of the crystal resonator. Thus, the oscillation circuit continues the oscillation at the harmonics of the crystal resonator.
