<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a squeeze-off apparatus capable of promptly carrying out squeeze work and straightening a pipe after squeezing by one apparatus, and a piping method using the squeeze-off apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: In the squeeze-off apparatus, one squeeze bar is provided so that it can relatively reciprocate with respect to the other squeeze bar, the one squeeze bar approaches the other squeeze bar, and a resin pipe inserted between both squeeze bars is squeezed and closed by both the squeeze bars. A straightening means is provided having at least a pair of pipe abutting parts facing a direction orthogonal to the reciprocating direction of the squeeze bar, and capable of straightening a squeezed portion of the resin piping until it is formed into an elliptical shape with a cross section having a long axis in a moving direction of the squeeze bar, by pressing the pair of pipe abutting parts against the wall surface of the resin piping from a direction orthogonal to the moving direction of the squeeze bar toward a pipe center direction accompanied by the reciprocation of the squeeze bar after squeezing. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
