<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To safely record contents without depending on a physical format of the storage device. <P>SOLUTION: The information processing device 10 sends a nonce generating request to the storage device 20 when recording contents in the storage device 20 in a recording system. In response to receiving the nonce generating request, the storage device 20 generates a nonce which is uniquely generated every time it receives the nonce generating request, and sends it to the information processing device 10. The information processing device 10 encrypts the content-related data files using the nonce received from the storage device 20, stores the encrypted data file in the recording media 21 of the storage device 20, calculates a hash value of the encrypted data file, and sends a request for recording the nonce including the hash value to the storage device 20.
