<p>A multi-gap metalic ceramic gas discharge tube having external trigger terminals. The discharge tube includes ceramic positioning pins, metalic ceramic insulators, discharge gap electrode partition plates, discharge gap transition joint partition plates, screw electrodes, and terminals. There are at least two annular metalic ceramic insulators, and the ends of the annular metalic ceramic insulators are connected with the screw electrodes. And a multi-gap space that fills inert gases can be formed. Each annular metalic ceramic insulator has an incorporate annular flange. The upper terminal face and the lower terminal face of each annular flange can support two discharge gap electrode partition plates. Each discharge gap electrode partition plate has one hole for the ceramic positioning pin, and also has the other hole for discharge extend. Each discharge gap transition joint partition plate is set between two metalic ceramic insulators. And each discharge gap transition joint partition plate also has a hole for discharge extend. Each discharge gap transition joint partition plate has a terminal which is incorporate with the discharge gap transition joint partition plate, and after excess voltage, the discharge tube will be turn off and reaches no afterflow effect.</p> |
