<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a true/false discriminating device for a light diffracting structure capable of grasping the features of the light diffracting structure duplicated without performing complicated computations and discriminating the genuineness of the light diffracting structure and to provide a true/false discriminating method for the light diffracting structure using the described device. <P>SOLUTION: The true/false discriminating device to discriminate genuineness of the light diffracting structure embodied in a flat sheet is equipped at least with a light projection part in which a band-shaped blue light source and a band-shaped red light source are installed parallel to each other in order to acquire the blue element and red element of the light diffracting structure, a light reception part in which a band-shaped light sensor is installed parallel with the light projection part, a discrimination circuit to discriminate the genuineness of the light diffracting structure using the received light information acquired from the light reception part, and a notification part to notify the result from discrimination. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
