<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hinge device which ensures light blocking effect in any conditions irrespective of whether a panel body such as a door board is opened or closed, and eliminates the risk of finger pinching of the operator when the panel body is operated. <P>SOLUTION: In rotatably mounting the panel body P on a support member S, a connector 11 consisting of gears 12a, 12b, a pair of arms 15a, 15b, and a case body 18, and a connector 21 consisting of gears 22a, 22b, a pair of arms 25a, 25b, and a case body 28, are employed. Then the arms 15a, 15b, 25a, 25b are mounted on the panel body P and the support member S by arranging the connectors 11, 21 at both upper and lower edges of a boundary between the panel body P and the support member S in a manner being opposed to each other, and an intermediate member 41 is interposed between the upper and lower connectors 11, 21. Further arched surfaces 19, 29, 42 are formed on peripheral surfaces of the case bodies 18, 28, and the intermediate member 41, and curved surfaces R are formed in end faces of the panel body P and the support member S opposed to the arched surfaces.
