<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that, in the case metal cadmium powder used as the preliminary charge substance of a cadmium negative electrode is produced by reducing cadmium ions in aqueous solution of cadmium sulfate or the like, hydration reaction occurs, and its purity reduces, and to obtain metal cadmium powder whose purity is highly maintained. <P>SOLUTION: When metal cadmium powder is produced by electrolytic precipitation process or the like, phosphoric acid ions are contained in an electrolytic solution comprising cadmium ions. The metal cadmium powder produced by containing phosphoric acid ions in an electrolytic solution comprising cadmium ions has high hydration resistance and whose purity is maintained compared with metal cadmium powder produced without containing phosphoric acid ions. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
