PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To select a free height position and be simply and surely held to a support in a bracket device for a storage rack and the like. SOLUTION: A channel 10 upright fixed to a wall face in the back face has a U-shaped cross section and forming a longitudinal slot 16. The bracket 18 has a lower side part 18A vertically extending in the rear end edge and the upper side part 18B forming a slope face. Guide implements 20 are provided close to the rear end of the bracket so as to extend to the both sides. The bracket 18 is upward inclined to be introduced in the channel 10 along with the guide implements 20, and the guide implements 20 are engaged with the channel, however the front side part of the bracket 18 is projected from the slot 16. A bracket end edge vertical part comes into contact with the channel bottom face by returning the bracket straight to hold the bracket at an optional position of the channel.
