<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that when a plurality of inter-vehicle communication modules for performing communication by CSMA control are installed in one in-vehicle device, one inter-vehicle communication module starts transmission without detecting that another vehicle is transmitting radio waves, and interferes with reception by the other inter-vehicle communication modules in the same vehicle. <P>SOLUTION: An in-vehicle device for inter-vehicle communication has a plurality of inter-vehicle communication modules comprising a transmission part for transmitting information on a user's vehicle by radio waves, a reception part for acquiring information on other vehicles by radio waves, and a CSMA control part for detecting the strength of the radio waves received, confirming that the other vehicles are not transmitting radio waves, and then starting the transmission of radio waves by the user's vehicle.
