PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a high-temperature thermistor having an extremely stable resistance change rate when being used in a temperature range of≤1,000°C, in particular 200 to 800°C. SOLUTION: In the high-temperature thermistor formed by adding quantitative Ca and Al as additives to a thermistor composition of three component-base such as Y/Cr/Mn, the quantities of added Ca and Al are 2 moles for each, the configuring ratio of the three component-based composition of Y/Cr/Mn is such that Cr is 8-10 moles and Mn is 10-12 moles for 80 moles Y. The obtained thermistor can achieve the stable resistance-temperature characteristics such as -3.0% or low for the resistor change rate of the thermistor blank in a continuous test at 1,000°C, for 30 minutes andΔR250°C.
