PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a powder feeder capable of continuously feeding even powder of high bridging property without any clogging, and evacuating only powder to a solving machine or the like at a predetermined rate without flow-in of air. SOLUTION: The powder feeder comprises a cylindrical hopper 1 with powder A being charged therein, a conical rotary nose 2 which is rotatably arranged in a slidably contact manner with the hopper 1, a powder reducing passage 3 formed between a circumferential edge of a bottom wall of the rotary nose 2 and an inner wall of the hopper, a circumferential discharging groove 4 communicated with the reducing passage 3 and formed below the rotary nose 2, a stirring blade 5 extending to the discharging groove 4 from the rotary nose 2, and a suction nozzle 6 for sucking the powder A fed by the stirring blade 5 from the discharging groove 4 and discharging the powder.
