<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device that is hard to cause image burn-in by reducing degradation of display elements in an icon display part. <P>SOLUTION: In the display device, pixels comprising subpixels of red, green, blue and white colors are arranged on a matrix, and the subpixels comprise electroluminescence elements. The display device includes a color arithmetic circuit for converting an image signal into a driving signal of the subpixel.
