<p>This invention relates to an electrically controlled lock assembly (1) including a housing (10) and a retainer (6) mounted on the housing for movement relative thereto between an open and closed position. The lock assembly also includes locking means (12) including a detent (21) that when retained in an active position stops the retainer from moving relative to the housing.
