PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical disk drive capable of high speed seek operation even if a pick up has individual variations in manufacturing. SOLUTION: The optical disk drive is provided with: a pick up; a sled motor; an error signal generation section; an RF amplifier; a track count circuit 431; a servo circuit 44; a driver circuit 45; and a control section 5. The servo circuit 44 is provided with: a first velocity target value generation circuit 441; an amplifier 444; a speed control circuit 442; and a selector 449. When the pick up 2 performs coarse seek, the selector 449 selects output of the amplifier 444 to output it until reaching a target position. The control section 5 has adjustment processing 52. In the adjustment processing, moving distance of the sled motor 21 is obtained by the track count circuit 431 by a point on the way to the target position and a design value of a ratio R = actual moving distance/moving distance is calculated.
