PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately discriminate a membrane coating uncoated part regardless of the thickness restriction of membrane coating. SOLUTION: This inspection device is constituted so as to inspect the membrane coating uncoated part with respect to the whole surface of a roll of sheet processed product in a processing process for producing the roll of sheet processed product by coating a continuous sheet with membrane coating while unwinding the continuous sheet from a roll of raw sheet to take up the coated continuous sheet as a roll of sheet and equipped with an illumination means that performs line illumination for irradiating the membrane coating coated surface of the continuous sheet with coaxial vertical illumination light or lateral obliquely upward light from the part just above the membrane coating coated surface, an imaging means for imaging the membrane coating coated surface of the continuous sheet subjected to line illumination by the illumination means and an image processing means for applying image processing to the image data obtained by the imaging means to detect the membrane coating uncoated part.
