PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method allowing easy attaching of a cartridge filter on a partition plate in a cabinet in a short period of time. SOLUTION: The method for attaching the cartridge filter in the cabinet includes processes of: carrying a cartridge filter attaching/detaching mechanism with a couple of cartridge filters locked thereon into the cabinet from an opening for carrying in and out the cartridge filter formed on the side wall of the cabinet; moving the cartridge filter attaching/detaching mechanism to a given position along the partition plate partitioning the mechanism via a guide rail disposed under the partition plate vertically partitioning the inside of the cabinet into a clean side and a dirty side; and pushing up the cartridge filter attaching/detaching mechanism to make it abut on the lower face of the partition plate and fix it.
