PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems that a telescopic extension pipe of a vacuum cleaner is desired to be easily assembled and the assembled telescopic extension pipe is desired to have a pull-out prevention structure for preventing the pull-out of an inner extension pipe from an outer extension pipe. SOLUTION: One end portion 72 of the outer extension pipe 7 is internally fitted with a pull-out prevention tube 21 for regulating the inner extension pipe 8 not to be pulled out of the outer extension pipe 7. The pull-out prevention tube 21 has a locking jaw 25 and the jaw 25 is fitted in a small hole 30 of the outer extension pipe 7.
