<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To sufficiently improve a probability of providing a pleasant awakening in a wake-up device. <P>SOLUTION: There is provided a wake-up device 1. This wake-up device 1 is provided with a CPU 9, and a detection part 2 detecting the state of a subject and outputting it as a biosignal. The CPU 9 estimates a time when a subject falls asleep, determines whether the sleep of the subject becomes shallow to a first level or not based on the biosignal, determines an optimal time being optimal for the subject to awake based on a scheduled waking time, the time to fall asleep and a sleep cycle of the subject and, when the sleep becomes shallow to the first level in a suitable period, starts a stimulation applying operation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
