PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a preferable space structure of a house which enriches various living scenes by giving continuity to individual spaces in lateral and vertical directions, and helps communication of various forms between parents and children according to the children's development and growth. SOLUTION: A pit living room 21 having a floor face lower than a passage space 11 by one step of stairs and a stage living room 31 having a floor face higher than the passage space 11 by two steps of the stairs are arranged in a mutually visible manner and interposing the passage space 11 arranged at a level of a main living function of a lower floor. An open ceiling 41 is provided at least in part of the space above the stage living room 31. Stairs 42 communicating with the upper floor are installed along the open ceiling 41.
