PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rescue signal transmission apparatus allowing a rescue team to easily acquire the position of casualities and suppressing the power consumption of a power supply of the rescue signal transmission apparatus. SOLUTION: The rescue signal transmission apparatus is provided with: a transmitter for transmitting distress information of being in distress at a distress site to a disaster prevention center as a radio signal; a receiver for receiving a first transmission signal from the disaster prevention center saying that the disaster prevention center receives the distress information, a second transmission signal of coming to rescue from the rescue team dispatched from the disaster prevention center, and a third transmission signal saying that the rescue team approaches to the distress site; a power supply circuit for actuating the transmitter and the receiver; a charge circuit for charging up the power supply voltage of the power supply circuit; and an LED light source, when receiving the third transmission signal, actuated by the charge circuit and emitting a light at a predetermined wavelength for notifying the position of the distress site to the rescue team.
