The switchgear (101) has an insertion module (102) positioned in an insertion channel (103), and a communication device (111) attached to the insertion module for connection to a higher control level. The attached communication device is formed for wireless communication i.e. radio transmission, with a correspondingly formed communication device (112) of the switchgear. The communication device (112) has a leaky wave conductor (115), where the conductor is arranged at an interior of a switching cabinet of the switchgear. An independent claim is also included for a method for communication in an electrical low-voltage switchgear with an insertion module.
