A dish washer is provided to make a drainage pump stop if the drainage is complete at the same time by accurately detecting the drainage time of completion. A dish washer comprises: a sump(120) in which the washing water is stored; a drain device(140) arranged in one side of sump in order to eject the washing water outside; a vibration sensor(150) sensing vibration by the drive of the drain device; and a controller stopping the drive of the drain device if the amount of vibration sensed by the vibration sensor is higher than the set amount of vibration.
