摘要 A center compensation method of the torque sensor is provided to prevent the center from being sensed in the wrong way due to the torque generated by the handle operation or the handle locking of operator. A center compensation method of the torque sensor comprises a step(S304) determining whether the steering wheel is free or not and grasping the torque variation from the main signal and subsidiary signals; a step(S308) calculating the average of outputted main signals and average of the subsidiary signals if the steering wheel is free; a step(S316) producing the main signal correction value and subsidiary signal correction value if the free state of the steering wheel is over the fixation frequency after the process is repeated many times; a step(S318) which corrects the main signal center position output and subsidiary signal center position output of the torque sensor, based on the main signal correction value and subsidiary signal correction value.
