<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical current transformer that is compact, is used for a long time, and does not use an insulating ring or insulating spacer in a ring-like case for storing an optical fiber. <P>SOLUTION: This optical current transformer comprises an optical fiber 1 functioning as a faraday sensor, and a ring-like metal case 2 formed so as to store the optical fiber 1 in an airtight state and revolve a primary conductor 8.
