<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To output information about a pathway of traveling by public transportation means, by receiving simple input. <P>SOLUTION: If no input over a continuous predetermined time period is received via a UI device 21, a CPU 16, for example, displays a transfer retrieval screen 60 as shown in Fig.5 via the UI device 21. An input reception key 62 receives an input exit station name. An input display section 64 displays the exit station name of which input has been received. The CPU 16 receives a direction for retrieval start via a retrieval start reception key 68 of the UI device 21. The CPU 16 accesses servers 40-1, 40-2 to retrieve information about a traveling pathway from a boarding station to an exit station and intra-station information along the retrieved traveling pathway.
