PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the entire structure of a hot water terminal unit 3 from being complicated in a hot water utilizing system 1 for performing a hot water circulation operation for delivering and radiating hot water heated and generated by a heat source machine 2 from delivery side hot water piping L1 to a heat exchanger 32 of the hot water terminal unit 3, and then returning the hot water to the heat source machine 2 via return side hot water pipe L2, wherein the system 1 is equipped with a connection determining means C31 capable of determining whether or not the delivery side hot water pipe L1 is connected to a piping connection part 302 on a water outflow side of the hot water terminal unit 3 and the return side hot water pipe L2 is connected to a piping connection part 301 on the water inflow side, which is a reverse connection state. SOLUTION: The connection determining means C31 determines that the piping connection state is a reverse connection state, when the water temperature in a water inflow conduit 32a connecting the water inflow side pipe connection part 301 to the heat exchanger 32 during execution of the hot water circulation operation is lower than reference temperature preset as the water temperature in the water inflow conduit 32a in a normal connecting state connecting the delivering side hot water piping L1 to the water inflow side pipe connection part 301 and connecting the return side hot water pipe L2 to the piping connection part 302 in the water outflow side.
