Levitation units (17, 29) are arranged in a staggered configuration in straight sections. The centers of most levitation units (45) at each corner section match the intersections between imaginary first parallel lines (VP) and imaginary second parallel lines (VCP). The imaginary first parallel lines (VP) are lines set so as to be parallel to a imaginary bisector (V) bisecting the intersection angle between a first transportation direction (Dl) and a second conveying direction (D2), and simultaneously, so as to be equidistantly located in the direction perpendicular to the imaginary bisector (V). The imaginary second parallel lines (VCP) are lines set so as to be parallel to a imaginary orthogonal line (VC) perpendicular to the imaginary bisector (V), and simultaneously, so as to be equidistantly located in the longitudinal direction of the imaginary bisector (V).
