An apparatus for preparing a fermented liquor, and a method for controlling the apparatus are provided to allow a fermented liquor to be manufactured automatically and easily. An apparatus for preparing a fermented liquor comprises a fermentation container(110) where the raw material for a fermented liquor is stored; a heat supply part(130) which heats or cools the fermentation container; and a control part(140) which controls the heat supply part, thereby controlling the fermentation temperature of the raw material for a fermented liquor.
