PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tungsten halogen lamp, having a light emitter capable of preventing a flat coil from becoming twisted, in a vessel that uses a flat coil for a filament. SOLUTION: This tungsten halogen lamp is provided with a bulb and the light emitter arranged in the bulb. The light emitter has two or more light-emitting parts constituted of one or more single-winding filament coils, and the filament coil is constituted by winding a filament wire in a nearly-flat shape. The at least two light-emitting parts adjoin each other, in a state where the major axes of the respective filament coils face parallel to each other, and the number N (N is an integer) of crystals of the cross section of each filament wire of the at least two light emitting parts is 1 to 3.
