PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To arrange that a situation is avoided in which printing part position are cut-off at every bundle handover time when printing work of a filament body is automated. SOLUTION: In an automatic bundle handover method of the filament body, immediately after a filament body length of the filament body 3 continuously sent out is measured by a first measuring equipment 7, a printing part 9 is printed at every prescribed spacing (pitch P) on the surface of the filament body 3, then after this printed filament body length of the filament body 3 is measured by a second measuring instrument 15, a prescribed amount of filament body length portion of the filament body 3 as measured by this second measuring instrument 15 is wound up in a bundle and cut, then bound at a prescribed binding position. When binding a wound-up bundle of the filament body 3, the continuously sent out filament body 3 is temporarily stored by a wire storage machine 13, then the filament body length, in which the prescribed amount is added with a phase differenceαportion between the prescribed binding position and a winding suspension position where winding-up is stopped after the prescribed amount of the filament body length is wound up is measured by a second measuring instrument 15, then the portion of the measured phase differenceαis corrected to be added for the next bundle handover, so that the printing start position of respective bundle where the first printing content is printed is delayed by a portion of the measured phase differenceα.
