摘要 <p>PURPOSE: A method for controlling a transmission point of an HS-SCCH(High Speed-Shared Control Channel) in a CDMA communication system applying an HSDPA(High Speed Downlink Packet Access) system and a method therefor are provided to control timing of the HS-SCCH transmitting control information for packet data transmission, thereby reducing maximum transmission power and downlink interference of a base station. CONSTITUTION: An RNC(Radio Network Controller) sets a timing offset of a CPICH(Common Pilot Channel) in response to each of cells(1801). The RNC sets delay values of an HS-SCCH corresponding to each of the cells by considering the timing offset of the CPICH, in order to minimize a section where the first slot of three slots corresponding to a TTI(Transmission Time Interval) of the HS-SCCH is overlapped(1803). The RNC transmits the delay values of the HS-SCCH to a mobile terminal and a base station(1805).</p>
