1295772 Dyeing and printing polyamides and polyurethanes FARBWERKE HOECHST AG 18 March 1970 [20 March 1969] 13019/70 Heading D1B Materials made of polyamide or polyurethane are dyed or printed at a pH of 1 to 8 with a water-soluble anthraquinone-azo dye of formula I: in which the benzene nucleus A may be substituted by a hydroxyl, C 1-4 alkyl, C 1-4 alkoxy, phenoxy, amino or acylamino group or halogen atom, the benzene nucleus B may be substituted by a C 1-4 alkyl or C 1-4 alkoxy or water-solubilising group or a halogen atom and n is 0, 1 or 2, exhaustion dyeing is effected at 60 to 130‹C, printing is effected by printing at 15‹ to 60‹C and then steaming at 100-130‹C or the material is padded at 15‹ to 60‹C and then thermofixed at 150 to 230‹C. |
