Methods for correcting the vision of a patient are provided that include the use of a refractive intracorneal lens that may be easily inserted into a corneal pocket. The intracorneal lens includes a corrugated haptic region that facilitates inserting and maintaining the intracorneal lens in the desired position within the cornea.
